It is your party and you are the star, but there is always a boundary that you have to be aware of. Weddings are very important events and they are attended by different kinds of people. You have to remember that your wedding is a reflection of who you are as a couple; and if you plan poorly, then people will think rather poorly of you. People, who plan a green wedding, are people who care much for the environment. Your wedding will speak strongly about who you are as a person, even your choice of wedding songs will.
It is, therefore, going to be important to be careful with your song choices. To stay within acceptable boundaries be guided by the following points:
- Do not use songs with explicit lyrics. Some songs have lyrics that can offend your guests. Some songs have lyrics that will make your guest quite uncomfortable. Make sure to screen all your songs. Do not just put them on your list because it is new and cool.
- Do not use songs about heartaches and lost love. A wedding is a celebration of togetherness. If you play songs that are about losing love, it will destroy the general mood of happiness and it can affect not only the guests but the wedding, too.
- Do not use songs that are too loud and disturbing. Unless you are going to hold a themed wedding, where everyone is expecting to be welcomed perhaps by heavy metal music, do not surprise them by just letting these songs blast the speakers.
